Are there issues with the gutter tearing the cover?
We put tennis balls over the gutter spouts to reduce risk of them tearing there.

How has this cover held up, you folks who've had it a while?
We've had our cover for 3 years. All of the strapping is nice. We checked the straps to ensure snugness several times over the winter. Prior to putting the cover back on at the end of the camping season, we repaired holes (e.g. downspouts on gutters, corners, sharp edges, ...)

We have had one of these on our travel trailer for several months now and it still looks pretty much like the day it was first installed. It has been through thunderstorms as well as lots of hot southern sun exposure so that speaks volumes. I was also very pleased with the number of time down straps and zippers.

Bought for use here in Florida because I liked the sound of the 5 layers. It lasted about 1 year and then disintegrated, with areas you could crumble into dust with your fingers.
